Orel power engineers improve electricity supply to rural-type settlements

IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo division performs comprehensive work on the repair and reconstruction of distribution networks that feed rural communities in each of 24 districts of the Orel region.

Thus, the Orel power engineers overhauled facilities providing electricity to the settlement of New Dawn of Novoderevenkovsky district. During the repair two transformer substations and an outgoing line from them was comprehensively refurbished with the replacement of 49 poles and leads-in into homes. The repair cost was about 900 thousand rubles.

“Reconstruction of power facilities will improve the reliability and quality of power supply to villagers of New Dawn, which is particularly important given that the majority of the distribution networks were put into operation 30-40 years ago and have a high wear and tear,” — underlines Chief of Novoderevenkovsky Distribution Zone Dmitry Sergeyev.
