Hurry up to do good

Tambov power engineers of IDGC of Centre congratulated pupils of their sponsored special (correctional) boarding school # 2 for deaf children on a Happy New Year and Merry Christmas. According to a long lasting tradition the team of Tambovenergo donated sports equipment and New Year’s gifts to children with disabilities.

The friendship of power engineers and pupils of the educational institutions has been lasting for more than twenty years. During each school year, the management of Tambovenergo repeatedly visits the boarding school, providing the necessary support to children with disabilities. On the eve of the upcoming New Year holidays the administration of the facility expressed their gratitude to the patrons, having handed a letter of thanks on behalf of the teaching staff and parent community.

The real gift to all those present in the hall was a large festive show featuring fairytale characters, Father Frost and Snow Maiden. The children prepared a concert program, providing viewers new dance performances and a special kind of art of the deaf — gesture singing.
