In celebration of the Power Engineers’ Day a traditional celebratory meeting with veterans of the Smolensk power system was held in IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division. It was attended by former employees of electricity grid companies that constructed and operated substations and power lines, providing coziness and comfort in the homes of Smolensk residents for many years.
The gathered were congratulated by leaders of IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division, representatives of the Youth Council of Smolenskenergo, management of JSC “Quadra” — “Western Generation”, OJSC “Smolenskenergosbyt” and chairmen of the trade union of Smolenskenergo.
“With heartfelt appreciation for your very important work I congratulate you on your professional holiday! I wish you, dear veterans, good mood, good health, patience and understanding. In turn, we’ll help you, not forgetting about your services,” — stressed Director of Smolenskenergo Sabir Agamaliyev.
He thanked the veterans for their years, devoted to the power industry. The veterans wished the current generation of Smolensk power engineers to successfully overcome all difficulties and not stop with the achieved. The veterans received gifts and bouquets of flowers.
