Orelenergo is honouring journalists

IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo division held an awarding ceremony of the winners of the annual contest for the best publication “Energy — our work”. The contest was organized by the branch in conjunction with the Orel Union of Journalists. This year it was dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the company.

Awards were given to representatives of 14 regional and district mass media. In addition to the traditional nominations — for the best materials on the company’s activity on television, radio, in print and online media — this year for the first time a special award was established “For a series of photos about energy”. Among the winners in different categories — journalists of newspapers “Orel Truth”, “Orlovsky Meridian”, “Our Life”, “Livenskaya Newspaper”, “Land of Mtsensk”, STRC Orel, TV “Rainbow”, Radio station “Silver rain”, Internet edition “Evening Orel”, and News agency “Info-City”.

Another innovation of the held contest: the nomination “For effective communication,” which was won by Head of propaganda of information and public relations of EMERCOM of Russia in the Orel region Natalia Akulova.

— We decided to thank our colleague for assistance in informing the public. Our whole life now depends on electricity, so it is very important for people to get the information about everything related to electricity supply, — stressed Head of Public Relations of the branch Eduard Rudakov.

Congratulating the winners, Acting Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo division director Nikolay Pavelko thanked the Orel journalists for their objectivity and professionalism.

In addition to the prizes all the awarded were presented with the just published in the print edition anniversary book about Orelenergo “Electric lights of Orel land”.
