IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division summed up the training, retraining and advanced training for the three quarters of 2012. About 5.5 million rubles were spent on these activities.
240 people (51 heads, 112 professionals and 77 workers) had their refresher courses for 9 months of 2012 aimed at training to improve knowledge and strengthen skills in professional competence.
Managers and specialists were trained in the field of industrial safety of hazardous production facilities, the rules for hazardous waste management, fire safety, for admission to the measurement and testing of electrical equipment, etc. In different areas and over this period 1191 employees of the branch had their training.
Ten employees of production control and safety Office of Smolenskenergo had their training on the qualification of trainers for resuscitation in the Tver training centre. These skills will help in the future train more employees of the branch on rules and methods of first aid.
In the training centres “Energetik” and “Expertenergo” of a branch of “National Research University ‘MPEI’ in Smolensk, with which Smolenskenergo has concluded a cooperation agreement, upgraded skills of 84 employees of the branch, 14 employees were trained on the program of professional retraining ‘Electrical Power Systems and Grids’ and one — under the” Financial Management" program.
Managers and specialists participated in seminars, were taught at refresher courses in educational institutions of Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ivanovo and other regions. Five people have continued their education to obtain a second higher education, one is enrolled in a master’s degree course at MGIMO. For workers it was provided to have advanced training, vocational training and retraining in order to learn the main, related and second-collar occupations.
Until the end of 2012 it also planned to have various training activities. 65 employees will complete their training in basic trades of electricians in various specialties, more than 50 managers and specialists will be sent to training courses, 10 employees will continue their training, 7 workers were sent for training from October 1 under the retraining program “Electrical Power Systems and Grids”.
In the last quarter of 2012, 165 employees will have their training in various fields and 1.6 million rubles will be spent on it.
