The main directions of the personnel policy of IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division are staff development, staff training based on industrial safety and health, and related professions as well.
In 2012, over 1,090 branch employees had their training, 50 of them received additional specialty. Nearly 6 million rubles were spent on these purposes.
The personnel policy of IDGC of Centre is aimed at the full development of human resources. Tverenergo for many years has been successfully working with leading metropolitan and regional universities of the country, teaching and academic institutions, training centres, organizes training on the job in its subdivisions, as well as conducting retraining and training at training classes.
In cooperation with educational institutions for 9 months in 2012 50 young specialists were taken to work in the branch — graduates of the Tver State University (TSU), Tver State Technical University (TSTU) and Ivanovo State Power Engineering University (ISPU). 17 students of Ivanovo State Power Engineering University had their practice in production units of Tverenergo.
The branch performs professional orientation work with students, schoolchildren of secondary, higher and vocational educational institutions of Tver and the region. In this direction Tverenergo organizes trips to the Museum of Energy of the Tver region, Grid Control Centre, operating personnel training centre, and power facilities of the branch.
As noted by Head of the Human Resources of the branch Sergey Zhirkov, Tverenergo puts strong focus on improving the skills of its employees, adheres to the basic principles of working with staff to strengthen and develop social security and self-improvement of employees.
