Tver power engineers of IDGC of Centre have completed a comprehensive overhaul of the substation "Gorodnya"

Tver power engineers of IDGC of Centre have completed a comprehensive overhaul of the substation “Gorodnya”, which was started in April of this year in preparation for the autumn-winter period.

In the course of the activities, 4 MVA power transformers were replaced for 6.3 MVA, which will provide grid connection of newly applied consumers. The power engineers also performed the installation of oil receivers and cable trays, straightened portal posts and replaced the heating system of oil-filled equipment and switch-gear cubicles of external installation. As part of the repair the specialists completely replaced the lighting system of the substation, and also replaced the seals of relay protection and automation cabinets.
