Tambovenergo in I half of 2012 replaced more than half a thousand entries in homeownership in the Tambov region with the use of self-supporting insulated wire (SIW). For the implementation of the planned activities specialists of IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division used nearly 40 km of SIW. This work is done by the branch to reduce commercial losses in the delivery of electricity, as well as to decrease the risks of its non-contractual use.
Replacing the bushings using SIW can significantly reduce commercial losses of electricity on the risky section in this respect — in entries into homeownership of citizens. It was there that there were the most frequently observed cases of unauthorized access to the network, which are the cause of non-contractual electricity consumption.
Firstly the entries are to be replaced in the most energy-intensive and problematic areas of the service area of Tambovenergo where commercial losses are higher than the norm. Furthermore, the use of self-supporting insulated wire significantly increases safety of electricity consumption, excluding the possibility electric injuries.
Work on replacing the bushings in the household using SIW in the service area of Tambovenergo is currently ongoing. In the second half of 2012 1542 entries into homeownership of consumers of the Tambov Region in the most problematic areas are to be replaced.
