IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division is preparing for the autumn-winter period

In preparation for the passage through the autumn-winter period an internal check in the main areas of industrial activity was performed in the branch. The checking program provided for interaction with the market for electricity transmission; organization of operational and technological management, operation, maintenance and repair of electrical substations and overhead lines.

An important area of ​​the audit was health and safety management and fire, industrial, and environmental safety. According to the results of the inspection measures have been developed to address the identified gaps.

Tambovenergo has developed its program of activities to prepare for the autumn-winter 2012/2013 period. The main of them are aimed at the timely implementation of integrated repair and overhaul, the full implementation of maintenance and current repair plans for power equipment, clearing ROWs along overhead power lines, preparation of vehicles, staff training and provision with safety gear.

Special attention will be paid to the implementation of requirements of supervisory authorities, the emergency reserve restocking, development of cooperation with the regional transmission control centre, regional bodies of Russian Emergencies Ministry, the cities’ administration and the executive authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation in the event of contingency.

In total 77 measures were developed, most of which have been taken.

The Central Commission for verification of the preparation for the autumn-winter period was set in Tambovenergo, which in early September will tentatively check readiness of the branch for the autumn-winter period with selective site visits, the state of which can have an impact for a certificate of readiness for the autumn-winter period operation.

Also there are six commissions of inspection and assessment of readiness of all organizational units of the branch to operate through the autumn-winter period, which will begin its work in late August, according to the approved schedule. Following the results of checks there will be Records of inspections made with identified deficiencies and developed measures to eliminate violations.
