Number of new customers of Smolenskenergo has increased significantly

For 6 months of 2012 IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo performed 1247 grid connection agreements, which is 171.6% more than the same period last year.

Among the grid connection facilities — 278 legal entities for which the branch connected 16.46 MW in total. But, of course, the bulk of new customers — individuals: their total connected load for the period was 9.53 MW.

From the beginning of the year, experts of Smolenskenergo connected to their networks a number of major social facilities in the region: OGKU “Capital Construction Office of the Smolensk region” — Federal Centre for trauma, orthopedics and joint replacement — 3.66 MW, RGD “Capital Construction Office of the Smolensk region” — a fire station — 35 kW, Church parish dedicated to St. Tatiana, in Smolensk, Smolensk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church (Moscow Patriarchate) — Orthodox Church — 14.9 kW, CJSC “Argus Pipeline Service” — Welders’ Retraining Centre — 1 MW, CJSC “Tander” — a shopping mall — 780 kW.

For the first half the branch has received 2167 applications for grid connection. This is 7.44% more than the same period last year. A significant increase in the number of applicants, mainly due to the availability of grid connection services to the public. The Smolensk branch has the service to support grid connection, which includes the installation of a meter, a wire form a pole to the metering device and grounding. These activities are in service the area of the applicant and the company’s employees perform them under value-added services of Smolenskenergo.

The number of the concluded in the first half agreements is more than in January-June 2011 by 14.07% and amounted to 1735 pieces. The total customer contract demand of the agreements in the 1st half of 2012 is 44113.21 kW. The largest and most important facilities in terms of grid connection in 2012 will be SOGU “Gagarin multipurpose center” — an office building — 50 kW. CJSC “Alvid” — non-residential premises — 1,37 MW, LLC “Vyazmazhilstroy” — building estate — 1,28 MW.
