Voronezhenergo is planning to spend more than 2.2 million rubles on the implementation of environmental policy in 2012

The main tasks in the field of environmental policy of the branch in the first half of 2012 were the transfer of waste to specialized organizations having a license to operate waste management facilities, construction of places of temporary storage of waste in accordance with the requirements of Russian legislation, compliance with established standards of maximum permissible emissions (MPE) in the atmosphere, control of the toxicity of exhaust gases of vehicles, planting trees.

The branch pays great attention to raising the professional level of employees for the most efficient operation in matters of environmental safety. Thus, in the framework of its environmental policy in the first half heads of structural subdivisions and employees of production control and safety Office were trained under the program “Ensuring environmental safety at work performance in the field of waste management of hazard class 1-4”. The course covered such issues as sanitary and epidemiological requirements for the collection, storage, placement, transportation of waste, administrative responsibility for the violation in the field of environmental safety, and legislation framework on waste management.

All subdivisions of IDGC of Centre — Voronezhenergo division perform their industrial activity in accordance with the MPE draft code provisions in place and draft code provisions for waste disposal limits.
