Smolenskenergo summed up the first half of 2012 to implement the work plan for the metrological provision of operation

During the first half of 2012 IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division performed calibration of 907 measuring instruments, including electricity meters — 102 units, current and voltage transformers of 6-10kV — 283 and 43 units respectively, and repaired 202 measuring device. To implement the needs of the branch to calibrate control panel and laboratory measuring instruments it performs work on the creation of a calibration laboratory (equipment purchase and receipt of certificate of accreditation).

Specialists of the department of metrology and quality of electricity produced 86 measurements of quality of electric energy at feeding centers and 165 measurements at control points. As a result of monitoring power quality activities are developed and performed to bring the quality of electric power in accordance with GOST 13109-97. In the second half it is planned to perform inspection control over certified electrical power supplied to residential consumers to prove certificates of conformity validity.
