IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division summed up the training, retraining and advanced training of personnel for the first half of 2012. More than 4.7 million rubles were spent on the staff training in that period.
For the past period 218 people (53 heads, 106 experts and 59 workers) had their refresher courses. The training was aimed at increasing knowledge and strengthening skills in the field of professional competence.
In addition, managers and specialists had their training in the field of industrial safety of hazardous production facilities, the rules for hazardous waste management, fire safety, for permits to measurement and testing of electrical equipment, etc. In total 836 employees of the branch had their training in various ways and forms in the first half of 2012.
Ten employees of Production Control and Safety Office of Smolenskenergo were trained on the assignment of qualified instructors-rescuers at the Tver training and production center. The skills gained will help in the future more professionally train personnel of the branch on the rules and methods of first aid.
At the training centers “Energetik” and “Expertenergo” of the branch of “National Research University” MEI" in the city of Smolensk, with which Smolenskenergo had entered into a cooperation agreement, 84 employees of the branch raised their qualification, 13 employees were trained on the program of professional training" Electrical Power Systems and Networks“, and one on the program “Financial Management”.
Managers and specialists attended workshops, were taught at training courses in educational institutions in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ivanovo, and others. Five people continued their training to obtain a second higher education, one is enrolled in a graduate course of MGIMO. Professional training, vocational training and retraining in order to develop fundamental, second, and related worker occupations were provided for workers.
A variety of training activities has been planned to by the end of 2012. In particular, 80 employees will be trained in basic trades of electricians of various specialties, 52 employees from among managers and specialists will have their advanced training, 10 more employees will have their retraining on the program “Electric Power Systems and Networks” and other educational activities. In general, in the second half 385 employees will be trained in various areas. Over 2.4 million will be spent on it.
