Health care of employees is one of the priorities of the social policy of IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division. To preserve the health of personnel at the enterprise a medical check and an additional medical examination of employees is performed annually.
For 6 months of 2012 944 employees of Yarenergo have passed their mandatory periodic medical examinations. Frequency of checks and a list of doctors, whose examination is necessary to pass depends on detrimental factors and/or hazards in the workplace, which an employee is subject to. For power engineers these factors are associated with the work in electrical systems, work at heights and outdoors. Preliminary comprehensive medical examination is conducted in employment and change of type of work. To improve safety on the routes of operating crews drivers of Yarenergo pass their medical before start of driving examination every morning.
In accordance with the Collective Agreement of IDGC of Centre for 2012 employees of Yarenergo who need to restore health are provided with vouchers for their sanatorium-resort treatment in the Yaroslavl region and other regions of the country.
As part of the prevention of colds and epidemiological diseases power engineers of the Yaroslavl branch of IDGC of Centre may be vaccinated against influenza, hepatitis, tetanus and diphtheria at the company’s expense. It is conducted in accordance with the immunization schedule and is voluntary.
