IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division is performing activities to implement the agreement on the grid connection of a facility of LLC “Green Valley”, located in Michurinsky district. The capacity of the connected in the nearest future agricultural holding will be 2.5 MW. The total investment for the project according to the plan — 9.011 million rubles, at the moment the investments comprise 8.313 million rubles.
To implement the development program of the agriculture complex in the Tambov region the investment program of Tambovenergo provides for the implementation of several measures aimed at ensuring the power supply of the new large agricultural facility.
For power supply of a vegetable storage of LLC “Green Valley” in Michurinsky district it is needed to construct more than eight kilometers of an overhead power line voltage of 10 kV from the substation 110/35/10 kV “Khmelevskaya” and reconstruct 3.3 kilometers of the Conductor-10 kV from the substation 35/10 “Suburban” with the replacement of the existing wires for the wire with a larger cross-section. It is also planned to construct 1.7 km tap from the Conductor-10 kV from the substation 35/10 kV “Suburban” to projected two-transformer substations of 10/0.4 kV.

Creation of an agricultural technopark in the science city of Michurinsk was recognized as a strategic direction for the development of the Central Federal District. The investment project “Green Valley” is being implemented in the village of Borschevoye in Michurinsky district and by 2015 it is scheduled to become the Russia’s largest agricultural holding, specializing in the cultivation of clean potatoes and vegetables. The premises will be equipped with the latest climate control and ventilation systems, as well as production lines with a processing capacity of 100 tons of vegetables per hour. Maximum mechanization of all processes is provided for. In general, the essence of the project is to combine educational and research institutions in the region and industrial enterprises of the regional agroindustrial complex into the cluster, in which the science and innovation core is the Michurinsky Agricultural University.
