Bryanskenergo is for safety of its employees

Another Safety Day was held in production units of IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division.

The main purpose of the Safety Day is to identify violations and deviations from the requirements of applicable rules, regulations, instructions, standards and other documents on labor protection and measures to address them.

Particular attention was paid to the implementation by the production units of activities planned by orders and acts of the previous Safety Days, as well as the organization of work of authorized persons on safety (the existence and implementation of work plans, logging of authorized persons on safety was checked).

Employees of Bryanskenergo, participating in the Safety Day, checked the condition of the premises, where compressors, acetylene and battery installation and equipment is operated, the compliance of the operation of that equipment with safety rules. While checking attention was also drawn to the availability and quality of signs and operators’ names of all installed pieces of power equipment and equipping with required warning labels, LOTO labels and signs on the premises and in the areas and in the premises of the DENs.

According to Head of production control and safety Office of IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division Pavel Zlobin, regular Safety Days in the branch improves the general condition of labour protection in all departments of Bryanskenergo, as well as the identification of harmful and dangerous factors of production, creating a safe environment . Safety Days — an additional activity to the daily work, in the course of which drawbacks in the field of labour protection are identified, and ways to address these shortcomings are developed.
