Youth Council of Yarenergo reported on the work done

Young staff of IDGC of Centre – Yarenergo division actively participates in social and cultural life of the Company. Members of the Youth Council of Yarenergo reported on the work performed with the youth at their reporting conference.

One of the priorities of the Youth Council is to adapt new young professionals to their new work conditions. This is solved, in particular, through the development of their creative initiative and to involve in holding cultural events. Participation in the organization of corporate events, ceremonies and a variety of actions allows young employees of the branch to feel part of the friendly team of Yaroslavl power engineers, to join the corporate values of Yarenergo and show themselves in different ways. Every year on the initiative of the Human Resources Office organizes for young specialists excursions to major energy facilities, meetings with the management of the branch and a special dedication ceremony in the energy sector is held.

A number of activities of the Council are aimed at creating with young employees a sense of social responsibility. Participation of the youth of Yarenergo in the Donor Day, voluntary Saturday work, actions "Save the energy of the forest" and "Victory Banner Relay", May meetings with veterans, charitable visits to children's homes has become an integral part of the work.

Last year, representatives of the Youth Council of Yarenergo visited "Seliger-2011" and participated in the II Yaroslavl Energy Forum. They also met with the management of C JSC "Center of Innovation and Efficiency". Its General Director Rustam Kholmatov discussed with the youth of the branch the prospects of implementation of innovations and research projects on the basis of the center.

The Youth Council traditionally pays much attention to the development of physical culture and healthy lifestyle promotion. Among the last year's activities of the Council - Action on tobacco control, help in organizing the tournament on mini-football, participation in city sport events and Day of Health at Tutaev Orphanage.
