Voronezhenergo monitors the quality of electricity supply

One of the priorities of IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division is to improve the quality of services for grid connection, transmission and distribution of electrical energy. The branch’s staff is very attentive to customer requests and seeks to always maintain a high level of servicing their customers.

Last year, IDGC of Centre - Voronezhenergo division received over 57,000 requests of consumers on issues related to power supply, grid connection and additional services provided by the branch. Compared to the same period in 2010 the number of requests increased by 62% (in 2010 this figure was 35 500 requests).

Throughout the year, the branch’s crews worked on the requests of consumers throughout the Voronezh region, eliminating the damage and breakage of power lines that occur in bad weather, performing repairs, and construction of new lines. Planned work includes inspection of overhead lines, transformers and setting up package transformer substations. All the activities of employees of the branch of IDGC of Center are aimed at improving the quality of electricity supply in the Voronezh region. In total 51 kilometers of wire were pulled over, 106 poles were replaced. In order to improve the quality of electricity supply in 2011 about 5 kilometers of 10-0.4 kV conductors were constructed with the installation of additional 9 pieces of transformer substation-10/0.4 kV, installation of 6 kilometers of SIW wire (self-supporting insulated wire), installation of non-insulated aluminum wire (4.05 kilometers).
