A meeting was held in Smolenskenergo with Chiefs of Districts of Electrical Networks (DEN) of the branch to summarize the work for the 1st quarter of 2012 within a block of services implementation. It was attended by Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division director Sabir Agamaliyev, deputy director for development and sale of services of the branch Andrey Zhidenko, Heads of relevant departments, divisions and services.
During the 1st quarter of 2012 13.8 million kWh of electricity was transmitted more than the planned figure and 22.6 million kWh more than the same period last year. This is due to the connection of large shopping centers in the city of Smolensk and Smolensk region, as well as the formation during the reporting period of the volume of electric energy in apartment buildings taking the readings of common in-house metering devices. At this the branch’s revenue from the technological connection was 9.07 million rubles in excess of the business plan.
The hundred percent shift to the billing of apartment blocks with readings of common in-house metering devices is considered to be the greatest achievement of Smolenskenergo during the reporting period, which yielded additional 19.5 million kWh of electricity to the branch.
The comparative analysis of the first quarter of 2011 and 2012 shows that the connected capacity under technological connection contracts has increased almost 2 times and amounted to more than 11 MW. At this the revenue for this service has increased by more than 2 times and amounted to 9.4 million rubles.
In the area of additional services provision IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division April 13, 2012 signed a municipal contract for street lighting with the administration of the city of Gagarin and May 11, a contract was signed with the city of Yartsevo. Just for a quarter the additional services were performed in the amount of 60.6 million rubles, including the payment for street lighting was 54.5 million rubles.
Deputy Director for the development and sale services of the branch Andrey Zhidenko stressed: "The meeting has given a positive assessment of the dynamics of reduction of electricity losses in 6-10/0.4 kV distribution networks without direct feeders. In general, the loss of the branch, thanks to the professionalism of Smolenskenergo staff, compared to the same period last year decreased by 3.79%. This is due, above all, the definition of electricity consumption in apartments’ blocks with readings of common in-house metering devices. In this regard, Ershichsky Elninskaya and Kardymovsky DENs require special mentioning as they have made the greatest contribution to achieving such high results".
