A letter of gratitude was received in the name of Chief of Novokhopyorsk District of Electrical Networks of IDGC of Centre – Voronezhenergo division Nikolay Shcherbinin.
Novochopersk branch "Forest protection" of "Novochopersk forest district" expressed their gratitude to the staff of Novokhopyorsk District of Electrical Networks for participation in the planting of forest plantations during the "Month of the forest" in Gorelovo-Olkhovsky section of Novochopersk forest district of the Voronezh region.
Please, be reminded that April 21, 2012 the All-Russian Environmental Action "Electricity Distribution Complex - for the environment" ("Save the energy of the forest") was started at IDGC of Centre – Voronezhenergo division in the framework of the traditional Target communication program of IDGC Holding and operating companies. The branch is actively involved in its implementation and continued the started last year tree planting. Employees of Voronezhenergo planted about 5000 plants in Voronezh throughout the region.p>
"We received the gratitude from Novochopersk forest district for our help in planting more than 300 pine trees in Gorelovo-Olhovsky section of Novochopersk forest district. To do so, the employees of Novochopersk District of Electrical Networks voluntarily worked in the forestry the whole day. For us it was a significant event, which we combined with the action "Save the energy of the forest". The cooperation with the forestry turned fruitful. However, our work was aimed at conserving the forest resources of the country and educating the younger generation of the values of serving the Fatherland and the environment", - stressed Chief of Novochopersk District of Electrical Networks Nikolay Shcherbinin. The Environmental Programme "Electricity Distribution Complex - for the environment" is intended not only to restore the natural balance of Russia disrupted by abnormal weather conditions, but also to unite the most active part of employees of the electric distribution grid sector - young people.
Please, be reminded that in 2011 within the framework of this program IDGC Holding and its subsidiaries planted 1 million trees and seedlings of coniferous and deciduous species, tens of thousands of shrubs. The staff of IDGC of Centre planted more than 10,000 saplings of trees and shrubs last year in the regions where the Company operates and in the Moscow region, and this year power engineers have already planted over 25,000 trees. The action "Electricity Distribution Complex - for the environment" ("Save the energy of the forest") is continuing to go across the service area of IDGC of Centre.
