Smolenskenergo is implementing its repair program for 2012

IDGC of Centre – Smolenskenergo division continues to implement the repair campaign in 2012. On the implementation of measures to repair electrical equipment and electric networks the branch spent 8.9 million rubles in the first quarter of this year, which is 1.26 million rubles more than the same period last year. This increase is due to increased planned maintenance costs of the program as a whole (from 154 million rubles in 2011 to 164 million rubles in 2012).

The increase of funding the repair program in 2012 provided an opportunity to increase primarily the cost of repairs of 35-110 kV conductors - 20.3 million rubles more than the plan in 2011, which allowed to increase the amount of ROW clearing along 35-110 kV conductors by 2.5 times (from 871.9 hectares in 2011 to 2 210.8 hectares in 2012).

In January-March 2012 16 transformer substations of 6-10/0.4 kV were repaired. 346.6 thousand rubles were spent on it.

ROW clearing along overhead power lines was actively performed. In the first quarter specialists of Smolenskenergo cleared 114.54 hectares of ROWs along 6-110 kV overhead power lines worth about 371 thousand rubles. Five poles of overhead lines were also replaced. Approximately 6.7 million rubles were directed to repair vehicles and buildings, dispatching and process control means, instrumentation, as well as relay protection and automation.

"Reliable electricity supply of consumers – a priority of Smolenskenergo. Therefore, the implementation of the maintenance program in the planned scope and on time is under special control. Now the work is being performed in accordance with the schedule", - stressed Head of analysis and operation management Office of Smolenskenergo Vitaly Golubkov.
