The Youth Council of IDGC of Centre — Tverenergo division jointly with the Electric Trade Union organized an intellectual mobile game “Autoquest” in the city of Tver.
Six teams with vehicles, consisting of representatives of the branch’s structural units, their family members and guests — employees of Tver Carriage Works — took part in the event aimed at the formation and development of team interaction.
The idea of the game was based on literary and humorous charades, riddles, puzzles and construction of optimal routes. The task of each team was to decipher the location on a specified territory, to perform logical and creative tasks and arrive at a given point before the rest of the participants.
“Activities that enable to demonstrate creativity and require non-trivial predictive approach are not the first time actively supported by Tver power engineers” — stressed one of the organizers of the competition — Deputy Chief of operational and technological Service of the Grid Control Centre Nikolay Kotov. — The original game concept and its unusual format not only develop the spirit of competition, but also stimulate the interest of participants to the geographical features and historical memory of the city“.
The team of engineers of IT operations department of the branch headed by Anastasia Prokofieva became the winner and showed the best time in the night match. Creativity and ingenuity was shown by the team of Tver Carriage Works finishing in second place. Bronze winner at the finish line was the team of HV grid Service of Tverenergo. All players were awarded with diplomas and prizes.
Summing up the event, Chairman of the Youth Council of Tverenergo Vladislav Ostrik stressed: “Intellectual and creative potential is also of importance in the occupation of a power engineer. This “Autoquest” was the second one for Tverenergo. The participants showed a bright exciting game, enthusiasm and teamwork. The outcome of the event for each of the teams was not only a victory or reward, but also their unity”.
