Voronezh power engineers of IDGC of Centre presented their work at one of the most prestigious congress and exhibition events of the Central Black Earth Region of Russia — at the V Voronezh Industrial Forum, held March
The project was organized by the Government of the Voronezh region, the Chamber of Commerce of the Voronezh region and “Exhibition Centre VETA” LLC of the Chamber of Commerce of the Voronezh region. The event was held under the patronage of the Russian Chamber of Commerce with support from the Government of the Voronezh Region, Administration of the urban district of the city of Voronezh, Employers’ Association “Council of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Voronezh region” and Association of economic interaction of subjects of the Russian Federation “Central Black Earth”. The project was launched simultaneously with the four Interregional specialized exhibitions “Energy resources”, “Innovative Technologies”, “Ecology in the industry”, “Industry. Utilities”.
This year the now traditional event, which is a key platform to discuss actual problems of the regional industrial market and the prospects for its further development, was attended by 133 companies and over 3,000 people. Businessmen and industrialists from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Saratov, Krasnodar, Penza, Togliatti, Novocherkassk, Rostov-on-Don, Tambov, Belgorod, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk and Orel were exchanging their business contacts, shared experiences and concluded agreements on cooperation. Besides the guests and participants of the industrial forum were delegations from Germany, Finland, Belarus and the Ukraine.
The official opening was attended by First Deputy Governor of the Voronezh region Alexander Gusev, Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government, Head of Industry, Transport and Innovation Department of the Voronezh region Dmitry Markov, President of the Chamber of Commerce of the Voronezh region, Yury Goncharov, as well as leading industrialists of the region. Later, Deputy Governor of the Voronezh region in conjunction with Chairman of the Voronezh Regional Duma Vladimir Klyuchnikov visited the both of IDGC of Centre — Voronezhenergo division, asked questions the branch’s experts about the major activities of the company.
For two days of the forum work the power engineers at the booth of the branch presented their additional services, services for technological connection and street lighting. Experts of Voronezhenergo answered questions about reducing the cost of maintenance and repair of equipment, the use of smart technologies for metering and energy efficiency. “This year the booth of Voronezhenergo presented the latest developments in the field of street lighting. Now power engineers of IDGC of Centre are implementing an important infrastructure project on street lighting of streets of Voronezh and the Voronezh region. They have been performing the work since mid last year and have already summed up the first results. In such a short period the specialists have installed about 4 thousand lighting fixtures in remote micro-districts of Voronezh and over 1800 in the Voronezh region. There are plans to install another 3.5 thousand in the region in the nearest future. The participation in the exhibition for the branch is meeting with potential clients, exchanging experiences and establishing business contacts with energy industry leaders in the Central Black Earth Region”, — stressed Head of Customer Relations Office of Voronezhenergo Sergey Maximov.
In addition, the specialists of IDGC of Centre — Voronezhenergo division became active participants in the business program of the forum. So on the opening day of the Voronezh Industrial Forum the Voronezh power engineers attended the annual Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Voronezh region, which was opened by President of the Employers’ Association “Council of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the Voronezh region” Alexander Andreev. The participants of the congress discussed the prospects for cluster development of the Voronezh region, innovation and development of the inter-cluster interaction, training human resources. As a result of the exhibition days, the branch was given a diploma of the V Voronezh Industrial Forum.
