Rescue service of Districts of Electric Networks of IDGC of Centre - Orelenergo division is ready to perform the tasks as intended

Once again, the rescue service of power supply, established on the site of Districts of Electric Networks of IDGC of Centre — Orelenergo division, was recognized as the best on the results of a routine check of the status of civil defense, performed by the Commission of the General Directorate of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Orel region in the period from 19 to 23 March 2012 in three municipal districts of the region — Kolpnyansky, Maloarhangelsky and Sverdlovsky.

Members of the Commission of Territorial Administration of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Orel region checked the documentation of regional rescue services, and then held command and staff exercises for 2 days on the topic: “The actions of the management of district and site teams of Territorial Administration of Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the Orel region at risk and occurrence of emergency situations of natural and manmade character. Transfer of the civil defense of a district from peacetime to wartime”, during which the management of the districts was examined with a variety of incidents, including the practical participation of crews of power engineers in the aftermath of emergencies in peacetime and wartime.

As a result of the examination and exercises Chairman of the Commission highly appreciated the readiness of Orel power engineers of IDGC of Centre for the performance of civil defense tasks, emergency response of various kinds. All district power supply services proved to be ready to perform tasks as intended, and Chief of Maloarhangelskogo DEN Sergey Kononov was given a certificate of merit as the best regional rescue service.
