Employee of Bryanskenergo took part in a scientific seminar

IDGC of Centre pays great attention to the development of scientific potential of its young employees and the implementation of innovative technologies in the activity. The Company encourages initiative staff and creates conditions for the development and implementation of their research projects.

Engineer of metrology and quality of electric energy Section of IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division Mikhail Shelop took part in the Twelfth International Scientific-Technical Seminar «Modern problems of production and repair in the industry and transport», which took place in the Ukraine in the city of Svaliava.

He spoke at the conference with his report «The emergence of flicker dose from the use of welding equipment in household use». Abstracts of the studies of Mikhail Shelop on this topic will be included in the research collection, which will soon be made on the results of the last seminar.

This is not the first scientific study of the employee of Bryanskenergo. Last year he took part in the XI International Scientific-Technical Seminar on the 50th anniversary of the Institute of Superhard Materials after V. N. Bakul of National Academy of Sciences of the Ukraine. There, he spoke with his report «The influence of electric furnaces on the quality of electrical energy». At the end of the meeting a collection was published, which included more than one hundred works, including abstracts of the presentation by Mikhail Shelop.

According to the power engineer, participation in scientific conferences and seminars provides an opportunity to enrich scientific potential and to obtain new theoretical knowledge, which is then used in practice.
