In 2011, IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division supplied 5.8 billion kWh of electricity into the grid of consumers

17.02.2012

Electricity supply of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division in 2011 into the grid was 5.8 billion kWh, which is 131.1 million kWh more than in 2010. At the same time the productive supply of electric energy reached 5.3 billion kWh — it is 141.6 million kWh more than in 2010.

The level of regulatory grid losses of the branch for 2011, normalized to the actual supply into the grid, was 492.5 million kWh. The actual power losses totaled 482.4 million kWh.

“Reduction of electricity losses in the grid of Kurskenergo is associated with the implementation of a whole complex of organizational and technical measures — stressed Head of electricity metering Office of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division Dmitry Zheldakov. — These include the improvement of methods of testing meters, and the use of modern materials for sealing meters, work with customers on the use of modern metering systems and their installation on the boundary of the point of delivery with a method that excludes unauthorized access, use of self-supporting insulated wire when connecting consumers and reconstruction of electrical networks, a comprehensive analysis of supply and distribution of electricity to each customer”.

As part of measures to improve electricity metering systems, increase the reliability of electricity supply in 2011 in conjunction with consumers 24,336 meters were replaced, existing 0.4 kV feeders were replaced for self-supporting insulated wire with the length of more than 30 km, 17 pole-mounted 10/0 4 kV transformer substations were installed with low power to reduce the length of 0.4 kV networks.

This year specialists of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division will upgrade 3 065 electricity metering points. It is planned to supply more than 5.3 billion kWh of electricity to consumers at the level of losses not exceeding 8.53%.
