Additional services of Smolenskenergo are in demand by consumers in the region

IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division continues to increase revenues from the sale of additional services. During 2011 the branch proceeds from the sale of additional services increased by 6.5% compared to last year and totaled 243.8 million rubles. The branch concluded 10,259 contracts for the provision of additional services that is by 3297 contracts more than in 2010.

A promising direction in the development of additional services continues to be the replacement, installation, inspection of connection diagrams of metering devices. During the reporting period in this direction 9241 contracts were made worth 7.8 million rubles. Contracts for the provision of services for maintenance and repair of street lighting networks are also concluded.

1246 requests were received for maintenance of street lighting networks, based on existing contracts. IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division currently maintains more than 12,000 lighting fixtures in the regional center and about 26,000 in other municipalities of the Smolensk region.

There is strong demand for operational and technical control and maintenance of electrical networks, for testing and diagnostics of high voltage equipment and electrical protection devices, for removal of networks from construction sites.

The specialists of the branch assist in the preparation of documents and obtaining approvals, perform repairs, maintenance and commissioning of electrical equipment, testing and diagnostics of high voltage equipment, electrical protection devices, advise on the design and construction of external power supply systems.
