Following the results of 2011 Lipetsk branch of IDGC of Centre marked a steady increase in the number of requests for grid connection — in the past year, the number of requests increased by almost a thousand compared to 2010.
The reason for this increase was the legislative simplification of the process of connection for businesses and individuals, the capacity of whose power installations does not exceed 15 kW. Consequently, the number of concluded contracts increased. In 2011 their number reached 3475 for a total capacity of 138.2 MW, out of which 2333 were performed with their capacity of 37.4 MW. Most of the executed contracts, namely, 1729, concerned the technological connection of power installations of residential customers.
The most important connected facilities were OJSC “LGEK” with the volume of the requested capacity of 4.17 MW; a power complex of OJSC “Quadra” (0.7 MW); a pig farm of OJSC “Lipetskmyasoprom” (0.96 MW) and CJSC “Lipetskmyaso” (0 69 MW), as well as an administrative and production office building of SO UPS (0.31 MW). In addition, the following connected facilities should be underlined: OJSC “Special Economic Zone” (0.47 MW); residential houses in the village of Alexandrovka in the town of Yelets of OSJC “House-Building Plant” (1.134 MW), as well as OSU “Capital Projects Division of the Lipetsk region” with its power of 0,42 MW.
Firstly the technological connection of socially significant facilities was performed — medical and educational institutions, water and heat supply facilities. Among them: the main building of the city hospital # 2 in Yelets; a building with a swimming pool in Dobrovsky district, “Medical complex- Yelets” LLC; Multifunctional centers of state and municipal services to the public in Dolgorukovsky and Lebedyansky districts; Turchanovsky orphanage with small capacity for elderly and disabled citizens in Volovsky district; Center for temporary accommodation of in-migrating persons in Terbunsky district, training and laboratory building of Yeletsk State University after I.A. Bunin; a sports and recreation complex in Lebedyan, a water tower in Zadonsky district; a modular boiler house in the village of Alexandrovka in the town of Yelets and others.
“All the work on connecting the facilities to the grid of the branch was completed on time and in full compliance with all the necessary requirements for electric safety”, — stressed Head of execution and control of technological connection department of the branch Sergey Bukarev.
