Fleet of Yarenergo added new vehicles

Within the investment program for 2011 IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division made a purchase of motor vehicles and special vehicles for the amount of 52.8 million rubles. At the moment the fleet of Yaroslavl power engineers has 651 pieces.

Among the latest acquisitions of the branch are an angled mobile elevating work platform with the height of 28 meters based on URAL vehicle, multipurpose excavator ETSU-150, excavator-loader Amkodor, tractors and motor vehicles GAZ — 33081 “Huntsman-2”. In addition, last year the fleet of Yarenergo added a mobile workshop on URAL-4320 chassis. Its equipment includes a compressor, drilling press, crane and other technical devices. Due to the wide functionality, it allows work at electric grid facilities with minimal involvement of additional equipment. Another new vehicle is a flat bed semi truck tractor KamAZ. Its enlarged cargo area can carry transformers and other large-size equipment where a standard trailer does not suit with its height.

The new modern vehicles are the key to efficient repair and construction works at the branch’s facilities. They improve the efficiency of each visit of a crew for restoration, and increase their functionality. This makes the power supply of Yaroslavl consumers more reliable. For the autumn-winter period 2011-2012, new vehicles and special vehicles of Yarenergo have shown themselves well in Districts of Electrical Networks of the branch.
