In 2011 IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division connected to its grid more than one and half thousand customers

In 2011 IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division concluded 2117 contracts on technological connection for the total capacity of 69 MW. For the year Kursk power engineers connected 1558 consumers to the grid of the branch. The total capacity of the executed contracts totaled 156.9 MW.

Among the major facilities that were connected in 2011 was a pig complex in Zheleznogorsky district. To supply power to this facility specialists of the branch constructed over 20 km of 10 kV power line and three 10-0,4 kV substations with total capacity of 2560 kVA. The power was also supplied to the agricultural facilities in Konyshevsky and Pristensky districts. In general, as for the agriculture sector of the region Kurskenergo currently is executing 50 contracts on technological connection. The total capacity of the facilities being connected is more than 40 MW. Providing technological connection of important agricultural facilities to the grid of the branch Kurskenergo contributes significantly to the socio-economic development of the region.

From January to December 2011 2620 applications for technological connection were formalized, which is 24.1% more than the same period last year. Specialists of technology connection Department of the branch associate the increase of the number of applications with the growth of industrial production in the region, the number of small and medium-sized businesses, and improvement of the system for handling requests of consumers.
