Yarenergo increases funding of the repair campaign

In 2012 IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division will allocate 128 million rubles for the repair program. This amount exceeds last year’s sum nearly by 8 million rubles.

In accordance with the approved plan for 2012 Yaroslavl power engineers will repair 1400 km of 0,4-110 kV high-voltage lines and 327 transformer substations and conduct a comprehensive repair of eighteen 35-110 kV substations. These works will require 91.2 million rubles. 5.7 million rubles will be spent on the repair of 6-10 kV cable lines, relay protection and automation devices and supervisory and technical management. 31.1 million rubles have been invested in the repair of industrial and office buildings, vehicles, specialized machinery and other equipment.

The largest facilities of the repair program include the following transformer substations: 110/10 kV “Pokrov”, 110/10 kV “Lugovaya”, 110/6 kV “KS-18”, 35/6 kV “Vederniki” and 110 kV “Petrovskaya-1” and 35 kV “Velikoye” high-voltage lines.

Yarenergo pays great attention to the clearing-up and expansion of ROWs. In 2012 IDGC of Center specialists are planning to clear the ROWs along the power lines in the Yaroslavl region of an area of 1513 hectares.

“Yarenergo conducts an annual analysis of the technical and economic status of grid facilities, according to which the plan of the repair campaign is formed. The main work will begin in May, after the end of the autumn-winter period. Now and in the coming months the major repair works may lead to a weakening of the scheme of electric supply of consumers as electrical networks have their maximum load”- said Deputy Chief Engineer — Head of production assets management center of IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division Yury Loganov.
