IDGC of Centre - Tambovenergo division is expanding its fleet of mechanized vehicles

21 new pieces of auto and special machinery vehicles added the fleet of IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division. The solemn transfer of the vehicles in the Districts of Electrical Networks was held on the site of Tambovsky District of Electrical Networks (DEN).

For its use IDGC of Centre — Tambovenergo division received seven pieces of MAVR workshop units on the basis of GAZ intended for mobile crews that will perform repair to restore power supply to consumers in the event of adverse weather conditions. All-terrain vehicles MAVR-48 852 on off-road chassis terrain 4 × 4 GAZ have high-road performance, a van with a compartment for comfortable accommodation of personnel, an independent heater, a welding generator, an electric sharpener, a drilling machine and a compressor installation.

An important acquisition for Tambovenergo was a truck crane “Chelyabinets” on the chassis of terrain 6 × 6 KamAZ with carrying capacity 25 tons for performing work in difficult road conditions on the installation-deinstallation of poles of overhead lines and replacement of 35-110 kV transformers weighing up to 20 tons.

Tractor TERRION with a timber cutter ATM 4200 is used to clear roads and high voltage power lines s. Late last year, Tambov power engineers tested the equipment, which showed good results. For one working day using the tractor with a timber cutter a crew of power engineers cleared 4 km of ROWs along power lines. For comparison — this is the monthly rate to clear the same area without the use of special equipment.

The use of new vehicles will facilitate the successful operation during the autumn-winter period, improve the working conditions of personnel of the branch, quality and uninterrupted power supply to consumers.
