Lipetsk power engineers celebrated their professional holiday

In the Palace of Culture and Folklore of the Lipetsk region the honoring ceremony of power engineers of Lipetskenergo was held. The ceremony, dedicated to the Power Engineers’ Day, was attended by about 700 people, including not only power engineers of IDGC Centre — Lipetskenergo division, but also special guests — representatives of authorities and business community.

On the holiday day the best employees of Lipetskenergo were awarded departmental and industry awards for their great personal contribution to the electric grid and years of diligent work.

Advisor to General Director of IDGC Centre Alexander Balashov, who was present at the event, stressed that the profession of the power engineer is one of the most important, along with the teacher and doctor. «The power engineer brings warmth and light to every home — something without which no person can do».

The employees of the branch were congratulated by Deputy General Director — division director Alexander Konanykhin, who thanked all employees for their contribution to the sustainable development of the power system of the region. «I heartily thank you for your work, without which it would be impossible to implement plans for energy development, and hence the region. I am sure that in future we will stay as a team, aimed at achieving good results, which are testified by the indicators of the departing year. Each of you bears the burden of responsibility for the warmth and comfort of residents. Let also your hearts always be full of light!».

First Deputy Head of Administration of the Lipetsk region Yury Bozhko praised the work of Lipetsk power engineers. «Despite the fact that the recent weather is unpredictable, we almost do not see any interruption in power supply. Thank you for your tireless and such necessary work!».

The message of Chairman of the Lipetsk Regional Duma Pavel Putilin said: «Lipetsk power engineers work for the future. Today, the region has created many new industries that cannot do without electricity. And power engineers do not fail, all is done on time and qualitatively».

Lipetskenergo congratulated veterans — power engineers with great warmth and gratitude. Representatives of the Youth Council presented them with gifts. Traditionally, during the event also the dedication of young professionals in the energy sector took place.
