A training on management skills development was held in Bryanskenergo

A two-day training on leadership and management skills for young managers of Districts of Electrical Networks and the executive office of the branch was held in IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division.

The training was conducted with intensive group work. Its program included group discussions, brainstorming, team and individual exercises, role-playing and simulation games, exchange views and experience, mini-lectures, aimed at updating knowledge and improving methods of work in basic management skills.

During simulation exercises the techniques were perfected to improve the efficiency of administrative actions to specific operating conditions of the electricity business profile. During two days of intensive work, participants received a systemic view of managerial functions, expanded knowledge about the main sources and methods of motivating subordinates and were trying to find their own leadership style.

“The main objective of this training is to help young leaders develop their own management style and understand the principles of building effective interpersonal relationships with subordinates. These skills largely influence the effectiveness of team work”, — noted Head of Human Resources Office of Bryanskenergo Natalia Galanova.

Modern training methods have become an integral part of the staff training in the branch. In conjunction with professional training psychological trainings help the harmonious development of an individual leader, have a positive impact on solving important industrial problems.
