Youth Council of IDGC of Centre — Lipetskenergo division took part in the VII Youth Forum of the Lipetsk region. The event took place in one of the cultural and entertainment centers of Lipetsk with the participation of Head of the Lipetsk region Oleg Korolyov.
The purpose of the forum that brought together over 300 young people who have shown themselves to labor, scientific, artistic and social activity was the development of the information space of youth policy.
During the event, the results of the state youth policy in the region in 2011 were discussed, prospects for the youth infrastructure development and improvement of the electoral activity of the youth. The meeting resulted in recommendations for the development of a system to support youth initiatives for government, media, youth and children’s organizations.
“Participation in this event allowed to see what the external horizons of our youth association may be. This will help us decide on future strategy, which will become an important part of interaction with government agencies to participate in social projects. The first step of Youth Council of Lipetskenergo in this area will be participation in the volunteer movement”- said Chairman of Youth Council of Lipetskenergo Darya Stepanova.
Work with young people — a major area of personnel policy of IDGC of Centre. In all branches Councils on working with young people have been created, bringing together young energy specialists. The main components of their activities are attracting the most talented graduates to work in the Company, acceleration of production adaptation of young specialists, promoting professional development of young people and improving their professional training.
