Lipetsk power engineers are involved in the development of housing construction in the region

12.12.2011

Specialists of IDGC of Centre — Lipetskenergo division are continuing performing the technological connection of a new residential settlement, being built 15 km from Lipetsk. The structure of the settlement provides for the construction of 400 individual houses, as well as creation of their own infrastructure. The customer contract demand is up to 3 MW, about 15 kW per household.

When performing the work power engineers followed a new concept of cottage building, providing the laying of all utilities underground. For the current year the power engineers have constructed 0.42 km of 0.4 kV cable power lines, which required 488 thousand rubles of investments. The main scope of work was performed in 2010 — the power engineers spent around 9 million rubles on the creation of the power supply scheme for the construction of the settlement. As a result, the necessary design work was performed and nearly six kilometers of 0.4 kV cable power lines were constructed. In addition to the laying power lines underground, which is an effective innovative technology, the power engineers also used new equipment. These include modern power transformers, vacuum circuit breakers, which increase reliability, functionality and environmental friendliness of electric installations, as well as automated electric power metering system.

Next year Lipetskenergo has planned to construct three 10-0.4 kV packaged transformer substations and a double circuit section of a 10 kV conductor. The settlement will be fed from the 35/10 kV substation «Thick Oakwood».

The implementation of the socially important project will increase the amount of individual housing in the region.
