IDGC of Centre - Kurskenergo division provides accurate measurements of electric energy

Since the beginning of the year specialists of the department of metrology and quality of electricity of Kurskenergo have performed 1832 calibrations of measuring instruments (MI), 849 instruments have been repaired and 1832 have been calibration tested. 1245 electric meters have been calibration tested and 1146 meters have been repaired. Kursk power engineers of IDGC of Centre also perform a set of measures to monitor indicators of the quality of electricity delivered by consumers.

Currently, as part of the repair campaign the power engineers of the division have jointly performed check and calibration of measuring current transformers and voltage transformers for commercial and technical metering of electricity in 0,4-110 kV distribution grid. This complex work is required to obtain reliable measurement results in commercial and technical metering of electricity.

In late September, the commission of IDGC of Centre accredited the metrological service of IDGC of Centre — Kurskenergo division for performing calibration activities, the accreditation Certificate has been granted with the extension of accreditation in order to reduce the costs of calibration testing of measuring instruments.

Successful implementation of the work plan for the calibration and verification of measuring instruments is a guarantee of smooth and reliable operation of the power grid in the autumn-winter period.
