IDGC of Centre renews the fleet of Belgorodenergo

Power engineers of IDGC of Centre — Belgorodenergo division have received 50 new vehicles of domestic manufacture. They will help employees of metering management to increase efficiency and quality of work during inspections of electricity metering at consumers’ premises and meter readings of natural and legal persons. In addition, the power engineer will use the new vehicles for the further development of additional services of the division, concerning the replacement, installation and testing of electric meters, as well as for maintenance of consumer in-house electrical networks. The formal delivery of the vehicles to Districts of Electrical Networks of the division was held at the depot of Belgorod Electrical Networks.

The purchased vehicles have good technical performance and a set of all the necessary features in terms of safety and comfort. They are equipped with an airbag, power steering with a hydraulic amplifier, trip computer functions, electrically operated and heated exterior mirrors, anti-lock braking system, etc.

Deputy General Director of IDGC of Centre — Belgorodenergo division director Victor Filatov, handing over keys to the new vehicles, said that such a significant upgrade of the fleet of the division undoubtedly will enhance the efficiency of the workflow. “I am confident the new vehicles will benefit not only us, the utility, but also the residents of the region, who we do work for” — he stressed.

The new vehicles will be made available for Districts of Electrical Networks (DEN) of Belgorodenergo. DEN staff thanked the division’s management for their attention to their needs, and promised that with the update of the fleet the performance of operations will undoubtedly increase.

Belgorodenergo regularly renews its fleet. In the near future, the division will receive more than 300 pieces of new special vehicles, including truck cranes (manipulating equipment), tractors, buses and mobile elevating work platforms.
