Vehicle fleet of Bryanskenergo was equipped with satellite tracking

02.09.2011

In an effort to create a comprehensive automated navigation and dispatching control system for vehicles, IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division implements a GPS/GLONASS system for motor vehicles of the division.

The announced plan for technical installation of the fleet tracking system in the division has been executed completely. The contract price was 9.9 million. From March to August this year 450 vehicles of the division were connected to the vehicle navigation system, including tractors.

The entire staff of the division that controls the vehicle of Bryanskenergo was trained to work with the “AutoTracker” system.

According to the Head of logistics and procurement Office of IDGC of Centre — Bryanskenergo division, Valery Semyonov, the implementation of the satellite tracking system helps streamline the activities of the division. This innovation allows at any time to know the location of vehicles. The satellite tracking system provides constant control over fuel and lubricants consumption, car route, and also promotes discipline among the drivers of Bryanskenergo.
