The engineer of the marketing and customer interaction department of Belgorod District Electrical Networks of IDGC of Centre — Belgorodenergo division, Sergey Saenko, as part of a corporate target program implemented by the Board of Directors of IDGC Holding, became a student at the International Institute of Energy Policy and Diplomacy (MIEP) MGIMO (University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
A few years ago at the initiative of General Director of IDGC Holding, Nikolay Shvets, for the preparation of specialists of international level, who are able to implement advanced foreign experience into activities in the distribution grid utilities, together with MIEP MGIMO a basic chair of IDGC Holding «Economics and management in power industry» was created. A target corporate training program for masters of the distribution grid companies was also organized. Under this program annually young employees under 25 years old with higher education and excellent knowledge of English have the right to pass on competitive selection for the master’s training program on the subject «Economics», specialty — «International electric power industry» and be enrolled in the university.
In 2011, Sergey Saenko, an employee of the Belgorod division of IDGC of Centre, became a student at the Institute after he successfully passed the entrance exam in MA MGIMO (University) MFA of Russia in English and Economics.
Mr. Saenko began his work in Belgorodenergo as an electrician operating distribution networks during his training in the last year at the Belgorod State Technological University after Shukhov. In 2009 he graduated from the University and a year later became an engineer of AMR of the Belgorod DEN. In 2011 Sergey was elected chairman of the Youth Innovation Centre that was created on the basis on the Youth Council.

While working at the YIC, he proposed an innovative idea of interaction between operators and contact center people. Today, it is successfully being implemented in the Belgorod DEN. »
