During January — July 2011 IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division executed 1814 contracts for technological connections to power grids with total capacity of 36.3 MW. This figure is 38% more than during the same period in 2010. The total amount of applications for technological connections during this period increased 20% and reached 2915. For just seven months this year specialists of Yarenergo have concluded 2216 contracts for technological connections. This exceeds the previous period by 11%.
As it was noted by the Head of the technological connections Office of IDGC of Centre — Yarenergo division, Tatiana Nekrasova, the increasing number of applicants is due to the increasing number of privileged groups of applicants, connecting power receiving appliances with maximum power of 15 kW inclusive. So from the total number of applications the amount of privileged applicants was 95.5%.
Since the beginning of the year Yarenergo connected a number of large industrial and social facilities in the city of Yaroslavl and Yaroslavl region. The largest facility that is connected to the division’s grid, was a finished drug products factory of «P-Pharm». In accordance with the contract for technological connection power men provided 2.1 MW for the factory.
Other significant facilities that are connected to the division’s grid, was a sports complex, school, house of culture in Rostov district, a local sewage treatment plant, solid waste landfills and a courthouse. Yarenergo also provided power for the underground and overhead pedestrian crossings of the Agency for Municipal Utilities order, which is performing the reconstruction of road infrastructure of Moskovsky Avenue in Yaroslavl.
