Occupational safety of the personnel, provision of the personnel with protective equipment and devices is one of the most important tasks of IDGC of Centre — Smolenskenergo division. In I half 2011 the division has spent more than 17.5 million rubles for labor safety.
In I half of the year 2.3 million rubles were disbursed for the implementation of measures to prevent accidents. The division constantly implements a program to improve general working conditions. During the first six months more than 12.4 million rubles were invested in the purchase of personal protective equipment, tools and accessories, 80 thousand as the efforts to improve working conditions and 2.8 million rubles in the sanitary and hygienic measures to prevent diseases in the workplaces.
To safely perform the work in the division crews being equipped with safety gear and devices is under control. All the staff had classes on first aid. Medical examinations of drivers are regularly conducted. Daily monitoring of technical state of vehicles is done before their leave for work and on their return to the parking place.
