As part of the implementation of the “Program for ensuring environmental safety”, 42.8 million rubles were allocated for environmental protection in 2019, the activities carried out include the arrangement of sites for temporary accumulation of waste, payment for services of third-party organizations for utilization, neutralization, disposal of waste, reception of wastewater, development of project documentation, personnel training, instrumental control over the level of negative impact and compliance with established emission standards, etc.

Activities, total

costs for environmental protection for 2014 - 2019 (thous. RUB)

Increased by 11.3 %

Atmospheric air protection

emissions of pollutants into the air in 2014 - 2019

Decreased by 33.2 %

Protection and rational use of water resources

water consumption volumes in 2014-2019

Decreased by 10.3 %

At the end of 2019, there was an overall decrease in gross emissions of harmful substances into the air by 11.7% compared to the indicators of 2018 due to a decrease in the number of sources of emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere based on the results of the inventory.

According to the results of the implementation of environmental and energy saving measures in 2019, in relation to the indicators of 2018, there was a decrease in the volume of water consumption by 7.1% and the volume of wastewater disposal by 10.7%. In 2019, 7,925 bird protection devices were purchased and installed on 6-110 kV overhead lines.

In 2019, there was an increase in the volume of waste transferred for disposal and neutralization to licensed organizations by 12% compared to 2018 due to an increase in hazard class 1 waste transferred for disposal, such as mercury-containing lamps (transition to the use of LED light sources) and capacitors with PCBs (implementation of the Stockholm Convention).

There are no accidents and incidents with environmental consequences.
