Alexander Brechalov and Igor Makovskiy held a working meeting in Moscow

22.10.2024

Head of the Udmurt Republic Alexander Brechalov and General Director of Rosseti Centre’s Group of Companies Igor Makovskiy discussed current issues of developing the electric grid complex, consolidating assets, and the readiness of the Udmurtenergo branch for the heating season during the working meeting.

The head of the energy company emphasized that thanks to the established interaction with the regional authorities, the power engineers managed to implement all the measures to prepare the republic’s electric grid complex for the autumn-winter period.

The head of the republic noted the positive changes in the appearance of the regional capital in connection with the start of the implementation of an eight-year contract for the development and maintenance of the Izhevsk street lighting system. More than 1,700 additional lighting fixtures were installed to illuminate the territories of kindergartens. In total, more than 20 thousand LED lighting fixtures will be replaced by the end of October 2024 to illuminate the streets, driveways, squares and courtyards of the city.

“The power engineers perform a vital social mission, reliably ensuring the presence of light and heat in the homes of Udmurtia residents, supplying electricity to industrial production. Rosseti Centre also readily responds to our proposals to participate in the implementation of socially significant and charitable projects, thanks to which the quality of life in the republic is growing”, said Alexander Brechalov.

“This year, all branches of the company in 20 regions of presence, including Udmurtia, received the status of a STGO. This implies our full responsibility for the quality of electricity supply to consumers. The openness and willingness of regional authorities to cooperate allows the power engineers to build long-term plans and implement long-term investment projects for the benefit of the residents of the republic”, Igor Makovskiy emphasized.
