Today, 23 January, Governor of the Vladimir Region Vladimir Sipyagin and General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy held a working meeting. The parties discussed the implementation of the roadmap of the Agreement on the cooperation of the regional administration and the grid company in the development of the region’s electric grid complex. In particular, the issues of synchronizing the events of the investment programs of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region with the Scheme and the program for the prospective development of the electric power industry of the Vladimir region, as well as the implementation of activities of the first stage of the digital transformation, were discussed. They also touched on the topics of achieving targets for reducing failures, tariff regulation, and consolidation of electric grid assets.

As Igor Makovskiy noted during the meeting, last year the energy company made every effort to improve the quality and reliability of power supply to consumers in the Vladimir region - and this work brings tangible results. So, according to the results of 2019, Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region reduced the average duration of power outages in the region’s grids by a quarter. The amount of electricity undersupplied was reduced by 39%. A significant role in achieving these effects was played by the successful implementation of the Digital Transformation Concept.

“Today the Vladimir region is among the leaders in digitalization. Here, as a matter of priority, several projects of the first stage of the Digital Transformation Concept have been successfully implemented: an energy storage system has been installed, the “Digital Electrician” project for electricity metering has been put into trial operation, Distribution Zones are equipped with digital radio communications, and a number of similar solutions have been implemented. In the city of Vladimir, one of the first stylized poles in the perimeter of our companies was installed. We are aimed at further advancing the implementation of digital technologies in the region’s electric grid complex, including through pilot projects that have not yet been scaled up. Corresponding decisions have already been fixed in our investment program,” stressed the head of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region.

Vladimir Sipyagin thanked Igor Makovskiy for effective and efficient work in terms of development and modernization of the region’s electric grid complex, transferring it to a modern high-tech work format. The head of the region emphasized that further constructive cooperation between the regional executive power and the energy company, including within the framework of the current Agreement, will help ensure a qualitatively new level of electricity supply, further socio-economic development and prosperity of the Vladimir region.
