On 14 November 2019, a working meeting was held between Governor of the Vladimir Region Vladimir Sipyagin and General Director of Rosseti Centre - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Igor Makovskiy.

The parties once again discussed topical issues of the transition of the region’s electric grid complex to a digital format of work, checked the “road map” of the Agreement on cooperation between the Administration of the Vladimir Region and Rosseti Centre and Volga Region in the field of the development of the electric grid complex, and also considered the issues of consolidation of the region’s electric grid assets.

The head of the electric grid company informed Vladimir Sipyagin that all activities are carried out in accordance with the “roadmap” of the previously signed Agreement and on time. Igor Makovskiy focused on the pilot project “Digital Distribution Zone”, which is being implemented as part of the digital transformation program based on the Suzdalsky Distribution Zone. Elements of distributed automation (reclosers, short circuit indicators), an integrated energy monitoring system are being actively implemented in the Suzdalsky Distribution Zone, a digital radio communication network (DMR) is being built, the project “Digital electrician - electrician for operating electric meters” is being tested. All vehicles of the Suzdalsky Distribution Zone, and the whole branch of Vladimirenergo, are equipped with GPS/GLONASS. In December, to ensure a new level of reliability of power supply of the socially significant facility - the village first-aid station in the village of Pavlovsky the power engineers plan to put into operation a system of energy storage.

“We have developed constructive and partnership relations with the Vladimir Region. All the projects that we are implementing here are aimed at further sustainable supply of electricity to consumers and the creation of conditions for the socio-economic development of the region,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.

Vladimir Sipyagin noted the effective and efficient work of Rosseti Centre and Volga Region in the region and thanked for the implementation of projects that contributed not only to the development of the electric grid complex of the Vladimir Region, but also had social significance.

“Digitalization of the power grid complex of the Vladimir region will increase the reliability of power grids, which is especially important for residents of rural areas. This is a path not only to increase the investment attractiveness of the region, but also our primary goal is to improve the quality of life of our citizens,” stressed Vladimir Sipyagin.

The topic of further implementation of the concept of digital transformation, the introduction of breakthrough technologies in the electric grid complex of the Vladimir region was also discussed at a meeting with the management of Vladimirenergo, which was held by Igor Makovskiy.

The head of the company noted that the ongoing process should go with the widespread use of the latest digital technologies, but the main goal should remain unchanged - to increase the reliability and quality of power supply to consumers. This is the main criterion by which the work of the electric grid company is evaluated.

“I pay special attention to the development of measures to improve the production and financial and economic results of “Rosseti Centre and Volga Region Vladimirenergo”, the organization of a qualitatively new level of interaction with administrative authorities. In addition, it is necessary to give a new impetus to the implementation of all programs within the framework of the implementation of the concept “Digital Transformation 2030”,” emphasized Igor Makovskiy.
