The head of Mari El Yury Zaitsev and the head of Rosseti Centre Igor Makovskiy signed an agreement for development of the region’s grid complex

15 June 2023 At the site of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), Head of Mari El Yury Zaitsev and General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC Igor Makovskiy signed a cooperation agreement for development of the power grid complex of the region and the formation of a favorable investment climate in the territory of the republic.

As part of the interaction, it is planned to modernize the electric grid complex of Mari El. Thus, it is planned to create a Regional Situational Analytical Centre, which will become an analytical platform for monitoring information about the situation at the housing and communal services in the region, on the basis of which management decisions will be made in the interests of inhabitants of the republic.

The head of Mari El noted the significant role of the energy sector in the implementation of infrastructure projects and socio-economic growth in the republic.

“The power engineers always take a responsible approach to their work – ensuring uninterrupted power supply to residents. It is important for us to expand cooperation with the power grid sector as one of the most important areas of the republic’s economy. The established partnerships and constructive dialogue will help make the life of the inhabitants of Mari El more comfortable and achieve the set results in creating an effective energy basis for the development of the region,” Yury Zaitsev emphasized.

“We will continue to fulfill our professional duty and increase the capacity of the power grid complex to meet the growing needs of the region. The signed agreement is a reliable basis for the implementation of innovative projects for the benefit of Mari El and its residents. At the same time, the experience of our specialists and the technical capabilities of the company will help in fulfilling all the tasks set,” stated Igor Makovskiy.
