During a working trip, Igor Makovsky, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, visited the Ivanovo State Power Engineering University, where he met with its President, Grigory Ledukhovsky.
1,155 ISPU graduates, including two directors and five chief engineers of branches of the Companies, as well as a number of managers, work in Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region. In total, this is 30% of the entire engineering staff.
The university conducts retraining courses for employees, employees of Ivenergo regularly take part in meetings of the state examination commission, and are also teachers of specialized disciplines. The head of the energy company, Igor Makovskiy, is a member of the university’s board of trustees.
Through the efforts of the Company, the Digital Substation laboratory was opened on the basis of the university - one of the best in the country for specialized education. This is a training and research ground based on a set of equipment and technical means that create a single space with publicly available information for all devices involved in management of a power facility.
Igor Makovskiy told President about the activities that the company is implementing as part of the Year of the Young Specialist, and stressed that the doors of branches in 20 regions are always open for graduates of the energy university.
“ISPU is a reliable source of personnel for the energy industry of the whole country, which has long-standing strong ties with our company. Together we create an innovative space for learning, we are engaged in scientific developments and bring them to life, we educate worthy personnel for our industry. Such cooperation helps students to better understand the chosen profession and immerse themselves in its specifics, and develop the energy sector,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.
