General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC and Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC Igor Makovskiy held an operational meeting, where he thanked the team for the high quality of work during the celebration of the 78th anniversary of the Great Victory in tense conditions of increasing fire, sabotage and terrorist incidents.
The head of the energy companies noted that the power engineers did not allow the realization of possible risks within the operational responsibility of the Companies, unconditionally observing all the precautionary measures approved by the Operational Headquarters and building a clear scheme of interaction with regional authorities and first responding services.
In addition to their professional duty, the employees of the energy companies fulfilled their civic duty by honouring the memory of heroes on 9 May: they put things in order at sponsored memorials and adjacent territories, installed and modernized the lighting and illumination system, and visited veteran power engineers.
“With constantly increasing external threats, the most important condition for the operation of energy facilities, preserving the life and health of people, and as a result, ensuring reliable energy supply in the regions is the unconditional observance of anti-terrorist protection measures for the power grid infrastructure and operating personnel. Any disregard for the rules can lead to irreversible consequences,” stressed Igor Makovskiy.
