Igor Makovskiy chaired a meeting of the Headquarters to ensure reliable operation of the power grid complex on weekends and holidays

Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre, PJSC - the managing organization of Rosseti Centre and Volga region, PJSC, conducted the Headquarters for readiness of the power grid complex in 20 regions of the Company’s presence for work in the upcoming holiday period.

The head of the energy company assessed the state of the readiness of branches for work in the New Year period and set a number of tasks for directors of the branches to strengthen control over response to possible technological violations in all Distribution Zones and to promptly process complaints from residents.

Particular attention was paid to regularly informing heads of municipalities about the operational situation. Igor Makovskiy stressed that constant interaction with the regional authorities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and municipalities allows power engineers to promptly mobilize all forces and resources, if necessary, and respond in a timely manner to possible situations in order to prevent mass blackouts of consumers. In particular, the scheme of interaction of power engineers with municipal authorities in the Vladimir and Tver regions was examined in detail.

A total of 2,590 crews, 9,559 production personnel, and 4,329 specialized vehicles are ready to perform possible emergency recovery operations in all regions where Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region are present. Also, if necessary, mobile 2,114 diesel generator sets with a capacity of 71 MW can be used to provide backup power supply to socially significant facilities.

“During the New Year holidays, when the load on the grid grows, it is especially important to ensure reliable and high-quality power supply to consumers, to make sure that the houses of residents of 20 regions are always light and warm, and Christmas trees and festive illumination sparkled on the streets. We will make every effort to ensure the stable operation of the power grid complex throughout the territory of our company’s presence,” stressed Igor Makovskiy, General Director of Rosseti Centre and Rosseti Centre and Volga region.
